Some links may be affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission. Your price stays the same.
Where money could come from
- A commission on a purchase link. Your price stays the same. Some links on the site may be affiliate links.
- A paid partnership or a supplied sample. It would be labeled on the page. Neither is on the site now.
How we'd label it
If one of these happens, the page would use this wording. None of them is in use now.
| Case | Label |
|---|---|
| We bought the unit | The unit on this page was bought by the publisher. |
| A brand supplied a sample | The sample was supplied by the brand. The brand did not set the order of the review. |
| A paid partnership | This page is a partnership. The brand paid. The specs match the other reviews. |
Where the label sits
- Review pages note near the bottom when a page may contain affiliate links.
- Outbound buttons go to the brand site or another published source. Some of those links may earn a commission.
What we don't do
- A commission does not move a model up a review.
- Brands do not preview the order before publication.
- We do not invent a missing field to make a comparison look complete.
